Notice of School Board Election
A School District Election will be held on April 11, 2023, for all voting precincts of Sioux Valley School District No. 05-5, Volga, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.
The election polls will be open from seven a.m. to seven p.m. central time on the day of the election.
At the election, the following offices will be voted upon: One (1), three (3) year term of office for a board member residing anywhere within the district. Candidates for the vacant school board position are: Krista Benson and Alan Vande Weerd.

It's no longer Pi Day (3.14), but don't tell that to our FACS class. They made this beautiful pie today that would make the Valley Restaurant proud!
While SVMS and SVHS will not be holding designated spring conferences, parents/guardians are encouraged to reach out to teachers regarding their student's progress at any time - even if your student is performing well. Teachers will make every effort to respond to emails and voicemails promptly - within one business day.
If you prefer face-to-face meetings with your student's teachers and need assistance in coordinating these meetings, please contact our office at 627-5657.
